Update on S.1
Good News!!!!
Thursday night the Senate voted 55 to 43 to remove the regulations from Senate Bill 1 that would have muzzled grassroots organizations in their efforts to keep Americans updated on the latest assaults against their freedoms.
It seemed we were unlikely to see those strangleholds removed from the onerous bill but your GRASSROOTS activism turned things around!
Your calls to the Senate made all the difference. The Senate switchboard was inundated with phone calls and Senators got enough emails that the message got through.
Sometimes, legislators aren’t even aware of the language contained in some proposed bills and therefore will simply sign off and move on.
But in regards to the Bennett amendment to Senate Bill 1,Senators got the message loud and clear!
This is proof that if we stay alert and make those calls we can rein in our elected officials. Keep up the good work.
