Happy Thanksgiving

December 16th! Many important things happened on December 16th. For instance, in 1773 the Boston Tea Party took place. Or there was Oliver Cromwell who became Lord Protector of England in 1653. In 1952, Lord Mountbatten appointed as chief of Allied forces in the Mediterranean.

However, the greatest December 16th that ever took place was the one in 1974. It was the most important, life changing, and happiest day of my life, but I wouldn’t learn about it until many years later. See, December 16, 1974 is the day that God’s most beautiful creation was born onto this earth. She is the one that He made especially for me. She is the one that I would wait my whole life to meet and fall in love with. The one that I would later call my wife and mother of my children. December 16, 1974, in Fargo, ND, the world welcomed the birth of Lezlie J. Qualley.

I am so thankful this year for December 16th. December 16th has been the catalyst for all the major blessings in my life. I am thankful and I am blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Early Birthday to my wife, the one I laugh with, live for, and dream of.
