The Truth About Obama

I believe a person should correct falsehoods and half-truths whenever possible. For that reason I have decided to do something that, the very notion of it, repulses me. Too many people are disparaging Barack Obama based on his alleged faith and the manner in which he was sworn into his very public office.

For the record, Barrack Hussein Obama is not a Muslim. He has talked at length during various interviews about his faith in Jesus Christ. He and his family are members of a Christian church. His father was raised as a Muslim, but later left the faith and became a devout atheist.

Barrack Hussein Obama was not sworn into office using the Koran. People who lay claim to this must be confusing him with Congressman Keith Ellison, who is a Muslim and was sworn into office using a Koran.

I have been reading many of the comments left by readers of articles on FoxNews.com. I am sad to say, it seems as though many people are making declarations without having any knowledge of the truth. I do not support Obama; neither do I support Clinton or McCain. I think they’re all a bunch of liberals. If you’re not going to support a person, it should be because of something factual and not out of your own ignorance.
